Craft Fair Artists

CLAY STREET CERAMICS by Jen Rugh

As a Wife, Mom, and Owner (& weekday Bartender) of the Front Range Inn, Jen finds solace in throwing clay! Sitting at the pottery wheel, Jen has the space to turn her brain off while she lets her creativity take over. She picked up the craft quickly and began fashioning different shapes and colors that are not only functional but gorgeous pieces of art. Did you know that Jen also holds a Psychology degree from Purdue University and has mastered the art of making cheesecake (thanks to her Mama!)?

CUSTOM DECO MESH WREATHS by Marnie Mallinson

Range Regular Marnie Mallinson loves to craft and party plan! While spending time with her grandmother as a child, crafting has always been part of her life. Her latest passion, developed during the recent pandemic, is making Deco Mesh Wreaths. Marnie primarily customizes wreaths for each customer but also has several general wreaths available because she likes to stay busy. During the Holidays she loves to cozy up to a fire with a warm, mulled cider using her own custom recipes to keep it interesting.

BIRD HOUSE ARTWORK by Linda Johnson-Ortega

Linda Johnson-Ortega is a long-time painter. She uses canvas, glass and wood to create different works of art. Linda is particularly fond of painting functional and beautiful bird houses where she masters new techniques and themes. Her goal is to create colorful and unique art for gifts that are fun to give and receive. And you never know, you might just find her brother Richie hanging with the rest of the Range Regulars up at the corner edge of the bar!

MILES FROM DENVER WOODCRAFT by Miles Rugh

Miles started turning wood, making drumsticks, on a small lathe that his father-in-law found at an estate sale. Over time, Miles expanded his craft, mixing epoxy with wood to create bowls, pens, platters, pizza cutters, and more. Just like when he’s playing the drums, Miles falls into a creative zone when crafting his art and he says he just never knows what the end result will be. He is a Colorado native, retired from University of Colorado Denver’s film school, and almost always orders the Range Burger with his pickles on the side. (And you can get your photo taken with him at The Range on Dec 22!)

INFINITE LIGHT WITHIN by Kaja Pool

Kaja Pool has always been a maker, working with mediums including metalsmithing, printmaking, woodworking, & ceramics. Her artwork includes stunning jewelry where she infuses energetic joy into every piece. Kaja loves working with her hands and getting to wear the things she makes! As an aside, she loves practicing Qigong as well as the art of cooking!
